When I got contacted by b.liv asking if I would like to try out their new face mask I couldn't turn down the opportunity. Although the product was free, all opinions are my own!

b.liv O2 Bubbly Bright Oxygenating Mask ($39) |
This product claims to be a purifying mask that combines oxygen bubble and rice powder to brighten the skin. The O2 bubble deeply penetrates the skin to clear the skin of pore-clogging impurities, debris and excess sebum (spot causing oil). The rice powder is used to moisturise and brighten the complexion while the red soft beads exfoliate away dead skin cells.

After using the mask, my skin felt refreshed, plump and more revived. The majority of time, I use a face mask at the end of the day, once I have taken off all my make-up. However, with this mask, it seems more applicable to use it in the morning, to rejuvenate your skin and have a fresh base. It is good whether you want your skin to be a little brighter for a no make-up day or if you want a smooth base for your make-up.
This mask, over the 4 or 5 times I used it, made my skin look brighter and feel smoother. I didn't feel there was an instant difference in my skin but over time, I noticed the difference of make-up application and product absorption. If I did this mask at night and applied my Vitamin C serum, I especially saw a difference in the morning after, my skin looked a lot brighter and my skin tone more even. Although there are exfoliating beads in this you cannot feel them, it is not a strong exfoliator which I prefer for this type of mask. If exfoliation is what you were hoping this mask would do then I would look for a different type of product, however if you are looking for a mask to brighten then this is definitely the one for you!
Overall, I really enjoy this product. It will be a mask that I continue to use when my skin needs that little bit of life back into it.
